In the Collection of Tyler Evans

I painted this in the same period as the one below in the collection of Gus Elg. For a time, Tyler and I shared a studio and it was a hugely productive time. He with his piano, pounding out classical jams and me, trying to keep up. I don’t remember the specific narrative in this piece other than the Temptation of Saint Anthony, although the demons and devils are beating each other up as well (as demons and devils do, I suppose.) click to enlarge.
